Helping you translate the story of your body
What is Osteopathic Manual Therapy?
As one of the founding forms of holistic healing and musculoskeletal healthcare sciences in North America, osteopathic manual therapy utilizes precise, gentle hands-on movements and manipulations to restore freedom of motion, balance, and equilibrium to the human body.
Understanding the Osteopathic Approach
Osteopathy applies precise manual therapy, guided by the laws of physics and biomechanics, to optimize alignment across the body's tissues and structural framework. From superficial fascia down to neuromuscular, tendinous, and visceral connective tissue structures. Rooted in an understanding of the body's interconnected systems, the physical effects of gravity on human anatomy, and complex compensation patterns like referred pain, OMT aims to restore systemic balance.
By liberating vital circulation and neural pathways, it removes mechanical restrictions, ultimately enabling natural homeostatic functions to operate and optimizing overall health and quality of life
What Can Osteopathy Help With?
Because osteopathic manual therapy evaluates and treats the body as an interconnected whole, OMT can support a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to:
Digestion, motility and elimination.
Headaches, migraines and TMJ discomfort.
Respiration and cardiac health.
Chronic and acute pain.
Recovery from surgery and return to work.
Balance through alignment.
Gait mechanics, mobility and physical performance.
Reproduction, pre and post pregnancy related issues.
Circulation and immunity.
Fatigue, stress, and improving quality of life.
Pelvic floor health.
Neurological issues and referred pain.
Reducing injuries through improvement of compensations and better alignment.
What I Offer
I am proud to announce my joining with the Ananta Wellness and Osteopathy collective — a space where you are heard and your symptoms are understood as your bodies attempts of communication, rather than inherent failures.
Grounded in classical osteopathic principles, my approach honors the body as an interconnected ecosystem designed to regulate and heal itself when in balance. Rather than isolating symptoms with a one-size-fits-all protocol, I evaluate the body as a collective to locate physical restrictions that impede natural movement, circulation, and neurological communication.
Through precise manual application, I work to remove structural restrictions and restore optimal balance and fluid flow.
Rather than trying to "fix" you, I give your nervous system and tissues the physical cues needed to release restricted pathways, allowing your body’s homeostatic self-healing mechanisms to take over.
My focus is always on uncovering the root cause of dysfunction, rather than reactively chasing symptoms.
Client Testimonials
Welcome! My journey into the world of osteopathic manual therapy began not in a classroom, but as a patient searching for answers. For years, I battled severe, chronic neck pain that completely disrupted my life. I tried common forms of therapy and consulted numerous doctors but was continually met with temporary relief or no answers at all. Everything changed when I crossed paths with an osteopathic manual therapist. By looking at my body as a whole, they helped me achieve the lasting results and relief I thought were impossible. This transformative experience sparked a deep passion within me to understand the human body and provide that same profound relief to others.
My Philosophy & Training
I graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Master in Practice in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) and am a certified member of OSTCAN. My comprehensive 4.5-year training encompasses over 4,200 hours of academic study, including 1,200 hours of direct, supervised clinical practice. As a member of Osteopathy Canada—an association aligned with World Health Organization (WHO) standards—my treatments are covered by most major extended health insurance plans.
I approach osteopathy through a classical lens, rooted in functional anatomy and the body’s interconnected nature. Rather than simply chasing symptoms, I work to identify and address the root causes of dysfunction. Guided by the core relationship between structure and function, I view symptomatology not as an isolated issue to silence, but as valuable communication from the body. By listening to that feedback and restoring structural balance, we support the body's natural capacity to self-regulate and heal.
Looking Ahead
At the heart of my practice is a genuine, deep-seated care for people—and animals! I am committed to meeting my clients exactly where they are on their healing journeys. As I continue my professional career, I look forward to expanding my classical training and practice to support both infants and animals down the road, bringing holistic, root-cause relief to a wider family of beings.
I look forward to collaborating with you, listening to your body's unique story, and helping you find lasting balance and vitality.
